Join Us at Book Fest!

Join us for Book Fest! 2022 on Friday, May 20 at Colonel Summers Park

To help kick off Read-A-Thon 2022 at Le Monde French Immersion, join us in celebration of books and readers with an after-school Book Fest! As part of this event, we will have a book exchange, a student showcase of diverse books, snacks and community.

• Book Exchange: Need some new reading inspiration or ready to let another reader enjoy one of already-loved favorite books? Head on over to our book exchange where students of all ages can give and get a book.

• Diverse Books Showcase: As part of this event, kids will have an opportunity to recommend a diverse book to their classmates by speaking to the group. 

A diverse book includes books with characters from diverse backgrounds or books written by authors from diverse backgrounds. This includes racial, language, gender and family identity, ability or religious diversity.
